Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ProAir Zimbabwe, George 'Billionaire’ Munengwa, says self-branding is important for every business because it builds relationships with your audience, which can eventually turn them into loyal customers.
Speaking on Capitalk 100.4 FM this morning, Mr. Munengwa said your brand represents you and your promise to your customer, and branding helps one create clarity and provide business value.
"Branding is key and I think this is why ProAir is relevant and well known because I made it happen. Back then, my cars were branded; I also branded myself wherever I went. "
He urged other business owners to be very proud of their business.
He concluded the interview by saying branding is important because not only is it what makes a memorable impression on consumers, but it allows your customers and clients to know what to expect from your company. It is also a way of distinguishing yourself from the competitors and clarifying what it is you offer that makes you the better choice.
