Cabinet has approved an agreement between Zimbabwe and Zambia that will pave way for the development of lower Zambezi Mana pools trans frontier Conservation Area (TFCA) which will foster cooperation between Harare and Lusaka.
Briefing the media after a cabinet meeting in Harare yesterday, Acting Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Jephan Muswere said the T-F-C-A plan will cover Hurungwe, Sapi, and Chewore safari areas, Mana Pools national park as well as adjacent communal state and private land in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The implementation of the TFCA plan will be funded through a 170 thousand US dollar global environmental facility.
